M U S I C

Here you will find various playlists of my favourite music!

Something you may notice when listening to any of these playlists is that I love upbeat pop and electronic music. In order for me to love a song, it almost ALWAYS has to be fun to listen to and be super catchy. Strong melodies play a huge role in whether or not I will enjoy a song.

If you want examples of music that I hate with a passion, scroll to the last playlist on the list titled "WORST SONGS EVER".

SONGS I'VE HYPERFIXATED ON

This is a collection of songs that, at one point or another in my life, I have hyperfixated on and listened to on repeat for hours/days/weeks/months.

RUSSIAN POP

My favourite Russian pop songs!! I have been a huge fan of Russian pop music ever since I was 12 years old (2002), which explains why a lot of the songs in this playlist are from the late 90s/early 2000s.

H A P P Y

A playlist of super upbeat EDM and modern happy hardcore songs, mostly by S3RL. I really REALLY enjoy fast electronic music that is heavily melody driven. The more earwormy and cheesy, the better.

Y2K BUBBLEGUM

I don't really know how to explain this, but teeny-bop music from 1998-2002 had this particular sound. I tried to put together a playlist of songs that all had that sound. Using visuals to try and describe it, it sounds like butterfly hair clips, pink furry trapper keepers with glitter accents, purple lava lamps, and Barbie cartoons.

WORST SONGS EVER

Quite literally the worst songs I have ever had the displeasure of having enter my ear holes.

Repetitive grating sounds/lyrics, the annoying way something is being sung, the lack of a catchy melody, or simply being an average/blah song that gets overplayed to death will all ultimately result in me despising the tune and adding it to this playlist.

Most of these songs usually play in retail stores, and are most commonly heard in places like Kohl's, Bed Bath & Beyond, or pretty much anywhere that attracts Republicans, Karens, or middle aged/boomer women who channel the "Live Laugh Love" aesthetic. Not every song in this playlist fits that description, but a lot of them do.

Disclaimer: If you like any of these songs, that's totally okay and I do not judge you at all for it, I just personally can't stand them.
